From San Antonio:
Take IH 35 North and get off on Exit 202 which is RR12 and the Wimberley Exit. Turn left and go north on RR12. (Be Alert, Ranch Road 12 turns right 2 miles before 1492. It is a large sweeping turn and proceeds down a long hill into the Wimberley Valley. Watch for 1492 at the bottom of the hill.) (The sign is not large).
Turn left on County Road 1492. Go 1/2 mile to second left Winn Valley Dr. Go left to the end of street go through the cul-de-sac and over the cattle guard between the green and white fence. Continue on this small paved private road 1/2 mile to parking lot on right. Speed limit 15 MPH two-way traffic.
Stay on the paved road and look for flags and signs.
